Biscuits; What's your favourite with a cup of tea?

I do love to sitting'd down and dranking'd a nice cup of hot, steamy, milky tea.

Nothing fills me with more comfort than watching my cup fill up with luscious hot water and collide with the teabag, which, upon contact dyes the water a lovely darkened brown. Add sugar and milk to taste (I personally don't take sugar) and sit down in my favourite chair in my house. I'll often kick back and put my feet up on some form of foot stool, possibly French in design, and take out my biscuit barrel.

The excitement only rises further when I pop the lid on the tupperware container to view the assortment of biscuits waiting to be selected and dunked forthright into my tea.

I do like a nice digestive with the milkiest of chocolate coating the top.

What's your favourite?

There are only two worth considering.

Malted Milk and Custard Creams, the rest are only pretenders

Damn you Irish Blue, you're off my Christmas card list.

you're showing yourself up here Raters

A true biscuit connoisseur would never allow his barrel to reach what we call "the crumbled state"

now go out and purchase a package of your favourite dunkers, and don't forget my Christmas card!

Good call :applause:

agreed

I enjoy the moment when I realise I'm dealing with a Ginger Nut, should I dunk it and allow it to soften or should I take it on and enjoy the crunchy texture unblemished by the lovely tea sitting only inches away

deedin I do.

For me it's a 'quick dipper' because, as you say, it's about the texture and not just the taste with a ginga
